New postponement to Marios’ trial

The nightmare that Marios Papageorgiou’s mother lives all these years, revived at Friday March 3rd for a few minutes in the courtroom.

The trial for the kidnapping and murder of the 26 year old, man will take place  in the Mixed Jury Court of Appeals on Friday, May 12, 2017, due to impediment of the civic’s advocates.

Petros Michaleakos and his wife Voula Sioutalou didn’t appear in court and were represented by their lawyers. As did the rest of the initially, convicted.

Once again, dozens of people were present outside the court. With placards in hands were asking for the answer to the question that Marios’ mother, has. Where is her son’s body.

This tragic and unfortunate mother, Varvara Theodoraki was present accompanied by relatives.

It was Thursday, August 9, 2012 when she saw for the last time her only son. Since then, he lives in the hope that it will be revealed where Marios is buried in order to give him the funeral he deserves and not the one that chosen by his murderers.

Petros Michaleakos a “good friend” of the family, first instance sentenced to life imprisonment for murder with intent and to 23 years for conspiracy, committing felony abduction in complicity and attempted extortion. His wife Voula Sioutalou imposed a penalty 18 years for snatching together, simple complicity in attempted extortion and conspiracy to commit a felony.

For the case of Marios four others were convicted , while two were acquitted Anastasios Bassadis imposed suspension the six years of sentence for direct complicity in extortion attempt.

Aristides Korentios sentenced to four years suspended imprisonment for membership in a gang to commit a felony.

Brothers Gerasimos and Vasilis Tampakakis prison sentences 3 and 2 years respectively, which is redeemable.

The last three, according to the judgment, participated in the attempted kidnapping of Marios mother Varbara Theodorakis. Innocent declared Korentios wife and P. Ch. due to lack of evidence.
