The reason for this development was the assertion that the expert identified by the relatives of 44-year-old Irini Lagoudi in the car where she was found dead.
During the autopsy on the unfortunate mother’s vehicle in the presence of police officers, it appeared that in one of the cords holding the tailgate, there was a piece of cotton impregnated with flammable material.
The legal representative of the family Mr. Taouxis claimed that it was a makeshift construction that would act as a transmission lever on the rear of the car.
Police officers do not believe that this finding is related to criminal activity.
From theinvestigated material collected by the Police, they have videos which testify that Irini Lagoudi stopped and bought a fuselage of flammable material from a local gas station on the day she disappeared. From another videotape it seems that the mother was heading alone towards Lake Trichonida.
