Mothers who were vanished…

Fifteen cases – riddles with dark elements  that “Tunnel” revealed  through methodical and persistent research …
Nobody has learned anything about these women. Most were murdered, but the aythorities did not search for the perpetrators, despite the shocking evidence revealed by the show that upset the viewers’ wrath.Cases that were forgotten in the drawers of the Authorities and led to the Archive with a cold protocol number … Souls that were not justified …
Some of these mothers may have put an end to their lives … Their relatives were left behind, never having the chance to light a candle in their memory …

Toula Koulani 56 year old. Mother of two children.

She disappeared on Sunday, on March 28, 2010, from the house where she lived with her husband in Kamatero. That morning, she made Easter cookies for her grandchildren who were about  visit her. All her personal items, her mobile phone and her identity card were found at the house. She had a cold and would not leave.
After many years of ping pong between a prosecutor and Kamatero Police, the file for the mysterious disappearance of the mother with the Easter cookies was closed.
Toula Koulanis was declared in obscurity. Her husband did not seek for her again and her children stopped the investigation.
This does not mean that if an important element or information is found, the case will come back to the foreground …

Anna Demertzi, 49 years old. Mother of two children.

She disappeared on October 8, 2004 from her house in Nea Michaniona.
The  woman used to work since  dawn at about five o’clock in the morning and use to walk  from her house to the bus station to go to Pylea . There she worked in the past years in a relative’s craftsmanship.
A person from her familiar environment was accused of murdering her, but she was acquitted and the case did not arrive in court.

Roula Nikolaou – Pantou 40 years old. Mother of a daughter.

She worked as a cleaner. She disappeared on Wednesday 13th or Thursday 14th July 2011 from Giannena where she lived.
A few months before she got separated from her husband Alekos Pantos. With her daughter Elena did not have a goo relation ship.
She had a leave from the beginning of July until August 2, 2011. She did not appear to her employer, nor did she ever ask for the leave fee.
The case remains open and has not entered the Archive.

Natasha Sakagianni-Pontikali 20 years old. Mother of two children.

She was mysteriously disappeared  on July 19, 2001, from Heraklion, Crete. Her mother said she would visit her gynecologist at Venizelio Hospital to confirm her third pregnancy. Witnesses saw Natasha leaving the hospital with her motorbike, which was found the same night she disappeared outside her house in Alikarnassos. The side of her husband claimed that the young mother took the shuttle bus to go to the doctor.
In February 2017, a macabre discovery brought the case back to the fore. A skeleton found at Kokkini Hani beach in Heraklion, as recently explained, ultimately belongs to a man of unknown details. The Forensic Laboratories of Greek Police, have been unable to export genetic material due to the age of the bones, and have therefore sent them to a specialized center in Germany.

Litsa Katsoulidaki 24, mother of a seven year old boy.

Litsa Katsoulidaki, 24, and her seven-year-old son, Christos, were lost in July 1986 from Patisia.
 Tunnel revealed that her 34-year-old friend had disappeared with her, while Litsa was pregnant with her second child. Some bones were found in a cave in Loutraki, Akrotiri, Chania. The scientists, however, could not answer if they belonged to the mother and the son because of their wear from time to time.

Spyridoula Peppa 30 years old. Mother of three children.

In Thebes remains buried one of the greatest thrillers of recent times. That of Spyridoula Peppa 30 years old. The mother of three children was mysteriously lost on December 9, 1989, from Skurta Thebes (Dervenohoria), where she lived. From the beginning her father and siblings pointed out that she did not leave alone, but she was murdered. The police officers and the Prosecutor accepted as mere facts simple information based on similarity and saying that Spyridoula lives and works in nightclubs in Athens and the province and has put the case to court!

Evi Tsiouni, 32 years old. Mother of three children.

Another case that entered the Archive. The mother of three children was lost on 7 March 2008 by Galatsi.
 Tunnel revealed a plan  by a specific group of people who wanted to kill Evi.
One of them, who had been involved with  the police with his unlawful actions, wanted to get her out of the way because he knew a lot about their action.

Olga Pavlidou 31 years old. Mother of a girl.

She disappeared at dawn on 24 August 2009 from her house in Kordelio, Thessaloniki.
About ten months later, her friend and father of her child was found murdered outside Sidirokastro Serron. As he declared to his relatives, he sought the edge in the mysterious disappearance of Olga.
All the evidence brought to light, testified that a gang killed Olga and vanished her corpse.
Her little girl grew up with Olga’s parents. Her father died a while ago, never knowing where they threw Olga’s  body.

Maria Kakogianni 39 years old. Mother of a boy.

Missing since   Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
The athlete from Cyprus, that afternoon left her house with her car, which was later was found abandoned and locked on a beach in Limassol.
On the very day of her disappearance, her husband found her own handwritten note in her room. The co-worker of  Tunnel, a special magistrate Magda Kambouri, who examined it, confirmed that the graphic character belongs to the missing person, but pointed out that the note was written under intense psychological pressure, possibly a threat.

Maria Vonisakou-Sourdi 58 years old. Mother of a boy.

She has been missing since February 25, 2012 from her house in Lagonissi, after leaving a note of despair.
A request has been made to be pronounced in obscurity.

Roula Sifona disappeared from Pyrgos Ilias on November 15, 2008. This case also was led to the Archives.

Zouzouna Dodvatze 61 years old and her daughter Anna 22 years old originating from Tbilisi, mysteriously disappeared from  Omonoia region where they lived in August 2007.

The mother of a nine-year-old boy from Athens disappeared from Aulaimona Kythira on July 17, 1999, where she had been for holidays with her husband.
