A lot of love and new friends were the wonderful gifts I brought with me from my recent trip to Switzerland.
A thank you, it is something small, in front of the honor of the members of “Literary Circle of Geneva” who invited me to present my book “Death with red lips”.
The coordinator of the circle, writer with intense social action, Vanda Pitsiladi – Chuard , organized the event on Friday, April 13, at the house of Alexandra Pierrakou.
I had the pleasure of meeting members of the circle, remarkable Greek women in the business and scientific field living in Geneva and promoting in the most positive way the culture and language of our country.
In their meetings they host contemporary Greek writers, while presenting studies and analyzes of the life and work of classical Greek writers.
The event for my second book “Death with red lips”, was presented by Mrs. Chuard , while the teacher and my ex associate Ariadni Vavouranaki spoke about my career in journalism.
An interesting conversation followed with the sociologist-psychologist Manousia Kypraiou on the important social messages addressed in the book based on true history, as well as my other two books published by Kastaniotis Publications.
The conversation has raised issues that concern modern society, such as female crime, domestic violence and the abuse of women. The members of the circle participated actively and I answered a number of key questions that were raised to me. I conveyed my findings from my many years of experience in police and social reporting, but also from the “black widow” case that I investigated and transferred into my book.
The same night we met with Mrs. Kypraiou at a dinner given by the hospitable ladies of the “Literary Circle”.
