Moving letter from the mother of the missing woman

The Easter week will always remind a mother and grandmother from Cyprus, her own daily Calvary.

The letter sent by Evaggelia Kakogianni to the show is breaking hearts.

For six years she has been waiting for the light in the dark which  swallowed her daughter  Maria. The information that will enable her to give a response for her loss to her grandchild, who everyday wonders what his mother has become.

The only thing that has been learned so far by the Cyprus Police is that the Moldovan husband of Maria left a few months after her disappearance with a forged passport for his homeland. Since then he has not been in contact with his child, but has not even been interested in learning whether there is anything new about the missing woman

Letter from a mother who still waits…

“Again, Easter has arrived, family moments for everyone are full of joy, but for us the pain, the sadness and the anxiety are profound, and our Maria still is missing.
An eight-year-old boy waits for every night  the door to open and look at his mother, foe who he is constantly searching for. All he’s waiting for is a hug, a kiss, a caress. To see her again.

What can you say to this kid? What to explain? He grew up …

Everyday wonders: “Grandma, when will my mom come to eat with us? To play with me;”.

One answer I ask to this mystery, to know why, to be able to stand on my feet, to be able to explain to my grandson.

Any information  will give me a light in the darkness of my soul. I just want to know the truth about my Maria.

Good Resurrection to Everyone!
