These are mentioned, among others, in a letter published by the mother’s relatives who was found dead in her car in Lake Trichonida.
They argue that the death of 44-year-old Irini Lagoudis is clearly due to criminal action.
From the very first moment, they did not accept the version of the suicide and call “rumors” what they sound as “aiming the attention of the investigation in the wrong direction”.
The letter also states the following:
Irini had already arranged a trip to France to regulate her daughter’s study subjects. On the day she disappeared, she had bought sweets for her son’s name day and in collaboration with her brother she intended to expand her farm crops.
They also point out that she was dear to the village and never had comments against her.
“Irini calls for vindication, the discovery of the guilty and the administration of justice,” the letter concludes.
