From early Saturday afternoon on 8 December, the public library room was literally “drowned” by young people and other beloved “Tunnel” friends.
Despite the problems that the difficult times of the crisis , a huge human queue of smiling and happy friends, patiently waiting to meet and sign their copies.
Adolescents full of enthusiasm and in some cases crying for our meeting, families with young children in their arms – among them a sweet young mom to be, couples of all ages, even travelers from Ilia and Chalkida. You all came up with a good word on the lips and symbolic gifts of love in your hands.
This gentle and unselfish love I have received, but also the trust you have shown in my face and in the difficult work of the Tunnel, touched me deeply.
