This is the first image of the Coroner of the Dodecanese region, Panos Kotretsos, from the autopsy at the place where the 21-year-old Nikos Hadjipavlou was found dead.
Death time is not determined on the same day of extinction. More spacific answers will be given when the body is transferred to Rhodes for necropsy and after the necessary laboratory analysis.
According to the coroner who completed the autopsy, there are serious indications of criminal action since the injuries of the victim are incompatible with a fall. The scratches on his body reveal that the unlucky young man was probably drawn by his murderers and left in a ditch in the Laga area of Kalymnos.
The victim was found wildly beaten in the face and body, without his blouse and only with a short-sleeved t-shirt. On his right foot he wore a shoe.
Lifeless body of Nikos was accidentally detected by a young islander on the afternoon of Saturday, November 25th, to a point which had researched many times in the past few days.
Everything indiacates he was transported there last night, after significant testimonies that arrived at Tunnel, and talked about people with offending behavior in the area who scattered the terror of the island’s inhabitants. One of the scenarios examined by police officers is that the unlucky young man might have been unwittingly infront of an illegal transaction.
According to another testimony mentioned by Angeliki Nikolouli in the show, the shoes and socks found in the opposite direction and recognized by the relatives were there several days before the disappearance. Probably the relatives were confused, since the victim when he was found wore a shoe.
Officers of the Department of Life Crime and the Department of Criminal Investigation of Attica have also traveled to the island.
