Developments in Takis trial

The trial of the murder of the young musician in Santorini continues.

On Tuesday, September 12th, aunt of Takis Vazakopoulos, Argyro Georgiou, testified before the Mixed Court of Samos.
Clearly plagued because her family is suffering for so  many years in order to find where her nephew is buried, she claimed that the accused was the last person who saw him.

e added that all these years herself and Takis’ family have been humiliated by the alleged killer and his relatives. She also said that in the beginning he was pretending he was a close  “friend” of Takis and then he did not only stop talking to them, but he was mocking them in every opportunity.
The defense lawyer  demanded that the police officer who was in charge of the investigations should not testify for moral reasons, but the court ruled that his testimony would highlight important aspects of the case.
