At the Mixed Court of Samos was completed on Wednesday, September 13, the process of witnessing.
The last one was the only defense witness who told the court that he lived for about a month with the accused and his family but did not know where they were staying! He was unable to answer the headquarters’ related questions and claimed he did not know anything about the murder of Takis Vazakopoulos.
Then the defense lawyer asked the court to bring in two more witnesses. This has prompted the immediate reaction of Alexis Kugias, the lawyer of the victim’s family. By addressing the headquarters, he read some of the witnesses’ testimonies, arguing that they were unreliable and would not offer anything more to the hearing. The court rejected the defense.
The trial was interrupted and will continue on Saturday morning September 16, with the accuser’s apology.
