In a telephone intervention the wife of the 59 year old businessman Despina Tsakalidou , told “Tunnel” that the first days of the disappearance relatives searched this route without result. She asked viewers who are passing or staying in this area to look if they can find the rural car with which her her husband was lost.
“Personally I did not know that my husband would take money that day. My belief is that if there is a possibility of robbery, someone knew that he had money with him . His car was old and would not provoke a random thief, ” she said.
