Thriller with mother in Serres

Eleni (Nitsa) Bonia 52 year old, mother of two, got lost on Sunday afternoon, May 26 from Neo Petritsi at Serres.

Relatives and neighbors had said that that afternoon, she would go to visit her father who was at the hospital at Kilkis. For this reasons he had ordered sweet from her neighborhood bakery. Friends and relatives who entered the house through the window, found that the woman left suddenly leaving her food on the kitchen table. Somebody surprised, meet her and vanished her…

Witnesses who know Eleni Bonia saw her waiting around four in the afternoon at the village square. But no one noticed if she got in someone’s car.

She was waiting at the square holding a bag with sweets

The daughter of the missing woman spoke on the camera of “Tunnel” from the place she disappeared. She said that at that particular point in the village square near Leschi, no bus going at Kilkis stopped at that time. Her mother, however, was standing there and definitely she was waiting for someone. The same image gives a young witness who was passing through the point with his motorbike. He saw Eleni and said hello. The woman was holding a bag with sweets. The baker who made and took her the sweets said to the reporter Dina Syrpou that she had ordered them to give them as a gift to the father who was at the hospital.

The mother of Eleni Bonia talked about the day of the disappearance . She was waiting for her at the hospital in Kilkis and she remembers looking her watch worrying because she was late. She was trying desperately to communicate with her but her cell phone was not responding . She told her other daughter , who immediately left to go to her sister’s house to see what happened.

” We got in the house through the window with fear … “

Her sister alerted the friends and neighbors of Eleni Mponia . The outer door was locked. They got in through the window with the fear that they will see something bad. What she saw shocked them. All things were in place. Eleni’s personal papers, her clothes … The food was left on the kitchen table. Everything indicated that Eleni was surprised and left suddenly but in order to return .

“I never transferred Eleni”

Before she got lost she had told her friend that she would go to Kilkis by taxi. She said even the name of a specific driver with which is supposed to have made an agreement to take her from the village square, located just fifty meters from her house. As the driver revealed to the reporter of the show, the missing woman had contacted him four days before she disappeared and just asked him how much the route would cost. When he informed her about the price, she told him that if she needed him she would call him back. She never made an appointment with him, nor call him back.

” Tunnel” found also the last person who talked with her on the cell phone before she disappeared.

“They wanted to get us out of the research …”

Eleni’s Mponia sister revealed at “Tunnel”, that the family received a strange phone call. This happened after the first announcement of her disappearance from the show. An unknown man who declared Eleni’s friend told them that they were together in Germany. According to the police, the call was made from a pay phone card from the area of Sidirokastro. The family believes that someone wanted to divert them and stop the investigations.

Everyone in the neighborhood and the village fear the worst for her luck.

Her daughter Katia Kazaki traveled from Thessaloniki and was at the studio of the “Tunnel” hoping to get answers for the fate of her mother.

A friend of the missing woman told on the show what Eleni revealed her one day before her disappearance. She told her that she would go at Kilkis with one friend.
