A Greek person that I could admire nowadays? – I kept wondering and literally drag my thought to all the fields of the public life of this poor place in order to find the one, who according to my opinion stands out.. Unfortunately I could not find anyone. But I did find someone who wont be seen on the tabloids, someone modest. He is the random citizen, the unemployed family man, who needs to survive the whipping of our modern-day dictatorship that was imposed on us by our politicians.
This family man, who rents the place he lives in and is threatened with eviction, who has to feed his starving children, who has no electricity because they cut it off, has no gas to warm him up. In addition he has to pay the unfair taxes they keep sending him. This family man who looks for a welfare state but seems unable to find itA state which appears to be impersonal, a cold-blooded murderer of the poor citizen.
This is the anonymous family man, I admire, now that Greece has hit rock bottom.
