On Friday, February 23rd of 2006, because of the trial of Danos Mouratidis- murderer of Kiki Kousoglou in Veroia-‘Tunnel’ brought to light the secret conversations between Angeliki Nikolouli and the suspect, which helped the show to resolve that sensational case. Danos Mouratidis aged 23, was sentenced to life imprisonment while his cousin who helped him bury the body, to imprisonment of four years. The show gathered important evidence that proved the guilt and pretention of the young suspect who then claimed that his girlfriend abandoned him for a better life and went missing on April of 2005. This evidence but also unknown documents came into publicity. The prophecy of Kiki Kousoglou, few moments before she was murdered by Danos on the bed they were sleeping, was shocking. The girl wrote on her personal diary that ‘Tunnel’ found, her tragic ending. An extreme love letter written by the suspect in jail, just few days after the revelation, addressed at an under-aged girl, was sensational and showed the character of the man who claimed being madly in love with his victim. The case that shocked public opinion began as an ordinary search for missing Kiki but the persistent research of Angeliki Nikolouli proved it was murder. The journalist found another girlfriend of Danos who experienced his violence and her testimony was important. Jealousy and brutal behavior forced him to strangle beautiful Kiki when she was sleeping, bury her body and pretend being anxious…Everybody believed him but not Angeliki Nikolouli who became his shadow and trapped him…
