She is 31-year-old Ioanna Naki, who disappeared from the house where she lived with her two older siblings in Kaminia.
Anna, as relatives and friends called her, quarreled with her older brother, took her bag and disappeared. Since then, relatives and friends have been looking for her in churches in the area and in the center of Athens, where she used to frequent.
Lately, as her friend describes in “Tunnel”, she seemed affected by the death of her father, whom she loved dearly. Not long ago, she had also lost her mother, who was her support.
The missing person used to go to the church of Agia Triada, but also to “Panagitsa” in Kaminia. The search of the relatives as well as of the broadcast in these places, did not result, since no one has seen her since the day of the disappearance.
A tip that arrived during the live broadcast sent the external investigation team to Piraeus. The viewer who knew her, spoke about the frustration she felt recently from the bullying she received because of her appearance.
The search during the night had no result and probably due to the weather, he sought shelter somewhere else.

Her brother, speaking to a reporter for the show, referred to the argument they had before she disappeared.
“She told our other brother that she will not come again. Just that. I woke up at five o’clock and she was gone. She had taken absolutely nothing with her, not even clothes. Just her cell phone and ID.”
He also referred to an earlier incident, which had worried them.
“In the past she was away from home for a few days and came back injured with a scar. Someone did it to her. It is the characteristic scar that Anna currently has on her neck. I’m afraid for her life, maybe something has happened to her,” he concluded.
Her best friend, who has known Anna for years, said that the death of her parents had cost her a lot.
“She is a very good girl. But ever since she lost her parents she was often upset.”
Visibly moved, she appealed to whoever might be holding her, to set her free:
“She trusts people easily. She thinks everyone is like her, but unfortunately they are not. Please, if you have her at home, leave her. I believe that we are all human inside, it’s just that some show it less and others show it more.”

Her brother speaks of a deeply religious woman who often went to church.
“On Sundays he went to Panagitsa, to our parish in Kaminia. But no one has seen her there, nor does she seem to have been to any other church.”

“Anna believes very much in the Virgin Mary and Christ. He went to church on Sundays, but there were also times when we went together to listen to a certain father’s sermons and at vespers.”
She became a detective herself and has plowed through literally all the places that witnesses pointed out to her.
“They told us that they saw her at the E8 gate, we went there, we showed her photo, in a canteen that is there and to various people… They say we haven’t seen her and then I thought and we went to the central port office, where people showed a lot of understanding. We also showed her photo there and gave her details in case they find anything.
Her brother reports that although she has a social media account, she has been inactive lately and has not logged in at all. Not even her friend, who was calling her on her mobile phone, could locate her.
“I was always taking Anna. She was calling her cell phone, but I didn’t get any answer. On Wednesday January 4th, it was completely closed. And to this day, I continue to call her so that the Virgin Mary and Christ will enlighten her and open it. We requested de-privacy to see the calls he has made,” he said. Her appeal moves:
“Please find Anna, please. I want him back. We all make mistakes in our lives, wrong choices that we pay for of course, but specifically for Anna I know she has a good soul. Anna, wherever you are, wherever you are, I love you very much. If you don’t want to come home, tell me and we’ll fix everything,” she said excitedly.
All her brother asks is to let them know she’s okay.
“She should call me to see if she’s alive, nothing else,” he concluded.
Anna has a height of 1.70, black hair and is stout.
On the day she went missing, she was wearing a black jacket, blue overalls, black sneakers, thick gold chains with a cross around her neck and carrying an olive bag.
A Silver Alert has been issued for her disappearance.
