The Romanian friend of Monica Gius, 42, a mother of three who has been living in Kyparissia for the last twenty years, claimed in “Tunnel” that he last saw her long before she disappeared.
The missing Monica Gius, originally from Romania, was facing health problems and was particularly vulnerable. She used to work as a cleaner, take care of the elderly, but lately she was unemployed. Her traces suddenly disappeared in February, without anyone knowing the exact day. Her disappearance was noticed by relatives four months later. Before she disappeared, she was hospitalized in the area after being abused by her partner, as reported.
