Light in the ballerina’s thriller 19 years later…

Nineteen years after the mysterious disappearance of the wealthy dance teacher in Kifissia who was revealed by the “Tunnel”, the judicial “light” for her murder was “lit”.

Before the offense for the murder of Marianna Kontouli expires, the Volos Council of Criminal Procedure refers to the hearing of the Mixed Jury Court of Larissa an acquaintance of hers, to be held accountable for her intentional homicide.

The development comes just eight months after his conviction for the same case by the five-member Larissa Criminal Court of Appeal. He was found guilty of the crime of moral instigation in forgery and was sentenced to five years in prison, converted into five euros a day. In the same case, two of his co-accused, a businessman and a doctor, were sentenced to four and three-and-a-half years in prison, respectively.

During his apology, he denied the accusation and was released on the restrictive conditions of being banned from leaving the country and appearing at the nearby police station on a regular basis. These restrictive conditions are maintained by the judicial decision.

Court ruling “talks” about homicide with perpetrator a “friend”…

Relatives of the unfortunate dance teacher spoke in “Tunnel” about the judicial order almost two decades after the fight that they and the show gave.

“A prosecutor has finally acted on their own initiative and is referring an acquaintance to her for intentional homicide. They tarnished the memory of our family by constantly telling terrible lies. I was listening to them and I could not do anything “, said Eleni Kontouli, half-sister of the victim, at an emotional state.

“If it were not for us and Aggeliki, this serious case would not have come to light. Marianna was a beautiful and very educated woman. Their goal was to take advantage of her and her property and when they managed to do so, they disappeared,” Panagiotis Verros, the victim’s son-in-law, told the “Tunnel” camera.

The ballet teacher disappeared at the age of 70 in the summer of 2002 from her summer house in Amaliapoli, Magnesia, where she lived for the last years. She owned a dance school in Kifissia, where she lived alone.

After the mysterious disappearance of Marianna Kontouli, the “Tunnel” revealed documents, which seem to have been in the possession of various people, which according to the special forensic graphologist Maria – Magda Kampouri, were forged. With these proxies, the people who allegedly accompanied her, proceeded to various purchases and sales in her name, despite the fact that she was missing.

The prosecutor’s investigation had started in 2008, when the half-sister of the missing Eleni Kontouli, submitted the first report to the Prosecutor’s Office of Volos.

All these years both her and her husband Panagiotis Verros gave a great fight for the truth by doing their personal research and identifying important elements that helped Justice in its work.

According to the testimonies of Kontouli’s friends who spoke to “Tunnel”, she had realized the fraud against her shortly before she disappeared. She turned to a lawyer and the mortgage office to investigate what was left of the vast fortune she inherited from her parents. During that period when she started bothering with her research, she disappeared…
