For attempted murder, the woman with the vitriol…

The young woman who was brought to the Security of Athens for the vitriol attack against the accountant in Kallithea, where she was prosecuted for attempted murder and disobedience, was taken to the prosecutor’s office.

The love affair created in the past, probably by exaggeration and obsession with the victim, seems to be the motive for the attack.

Police brought the 35-year-old blonde to the Athens Security Sub-Directorate from her home in Zografou.

She is a private employee, from a place of origin close to the victim, who worked in a law firm. She “followed” Ioanna on social media, without being close friends.

From the combination of the data in their possession, the Authorities, testimonies from the victim’s friendly environment, the call from the prepaid phone, the taxi route after the attack and the analysis of telephone records from the second scan they requested, found slowly her traces.

The perpetrator, as already mentioned, had called from a prepaid phone in the center of Athens the night before the taxi company that made an appointment to pick her up the next morning in Kallithea. With the same phone card and earlier, as the scan showed in it, she called a Pakistani who had nothing to do with the case, whom she had called from her mobile phone and from the scan on his phone was found the defendant’s phone number.

Authorities now had all the pieces of the puzzle needed to locate and bring her in. Police stopped her 50 meters from her home as she tried to escape, while the disputed phone card and the wig she used in the attack were found in her bag. Her coat and backpack were found in her home on the day of the attack.

The reason for the irrational attack that took place and destroyed the life of another young woman seems to have been an online contact in the past, without any other relationship between the victim and the suspect’s ex-partner. The perpetrator, according to the information so far, acquired an obsession with her victim that lasted for at least a year.
