At the place where Nikos Mentzos was tragically killed leads important testimony which came on the show.
While the 46 year old was burning inside his car in a field of the region, the witness was near the point. He met two men who knew to walk at a short distance from the burning car. He saw the fire, and when he asked them what is burning they answered “the car of the teacher.”
“Lets go and help” he told them. One of the two men responded sarcastically: “Let it go, it must be a a bit of skirt job …” The witness insisted and proposed them to call the fire brigade. The two men prevented him saying “Other will go … They will deal with it … Stay out of it.”
The witness could not imagine that in the burning car was tied up the unlucky Nikos Mentzos. As he told to Tunnel he was not concerned over the matter, until he saw the TV broadcast. For this sensational case, which shocked Greece, the main investigation continues and the victim s family believe that soon there will be developments.
