On September 16, 2017, the Mixed Court of Samos unanimously imposed a life sentence for the murder of the unfortunate young musician in Santorini, which his story moved the viewers, without mitigating to Ivan Mitev.
The court also decided to send the case to the competent Prosecutor of Naxos to investigate any involvement in the murder of two “friends” and three more witnesses, of any criminal responsibility.
At the hearing of the decision, the tortured mother Maria Damaskinos and the brother of the unfortunate musician broke into tears.
With a trembling voice, the aunt of the victim, Argyro Georgiou, told Tunnel:
“We thank Justice and the whole world. I want through the depths of my heart to thank Angeliki Nikolouli separately. If it was not for you yet, everyone would think that Takis had committed suicide … We were right, but the torture is not over for us. I wish to reveal that our child has buried … “
