A coroner did not go to the place and the necropsy was held on Tuesday, June 18, at the competent service of Komotini by the coroner Nikos Kifnidis.

In any case, this question, if the fracture was  post-mortem, would be clarified by histological examinations.

Death was caused by pulmonary edema, while the heart of the victim was swollen. The corpse was in advanced decomposition, saponification due to the liquid environment.

No other abrasions, bruises or injuries have been detected or water in the lungs.
