Angeliki Nikolouli’s investigation had a stirring upset, moved between Greece and Switzerland and reached the offices of the FBI in distant Alaska. Central faces of history are the missing pilot and his partner, a woman with a dark role.
Nikos Chrysolouris disappeared on the morning of Monday, April 8, 2013, from the house he rented on Georgiou Mamouris street in Markopoulo, Attica. He lost his car with a silver Opel Omega SW with Swiss BE 560370 signs.
When the “Tunnel” started the research, one could not imagine that the data for Nikos Chrysolouris would lead to an earlier multicore case, with which the show had also been dealt with.
The three-storey house in Markopoulo, where the pilot lived with his Swiss partner, is the same as the athlete Kostas Koliavasilis, who was mysteriously lost a year ago.

Chrysolouris has been living in Greece in recent years. He worked as a pilot trainer in well-known companies and was flying from the Megara military airport. Everyone who worked with him talked about an excellent professional and experienced pilot.
At that time, he had decided to change his professional orientation and so he set up a former apprentice with a food packaging business for export located in the region where he was lost. He wanted to be tested in this field as well as his father.
According to his friend and partner, Nikos would meet some workers at their company’s premises just that five minutes away from his home. But he did not reach the appointment, so he started looking for him. He first went to his house but found neither his partner. Two days later, his partner declared his disappearance to the Authorities.
Angeliki Nikolouli with his camera tried to represent the route that the missing pilot would follow the fatal breakfast. The reporter searched for the lost pieces of the puzzle in this case and his personal belongings, which were kept in his family apartment in Goudi.
Viewers found the IX
Tunnel viewers once again worked as a detective, and thanks to them, six months later, the car with which the 50-year-old pilot was lost was spotted.
After information arriving at the call center during the live show, the silver Opel Omega SW was spotted without signs in part in Stamata, Attica.
The paradox is that local residents had informed the police several times that they investigated the car in April 2013 shortly after the disappearance of Chrysolouris. Although it was initially found by the frame number that it had a foreign origin, no one connected it to the missing person. Police officers then did not bother to see if the Authorities were using the type of car to then research the frame number.
According to a resident in the area, a man parked the disputed period of disappearance at the point and wrapped it with a brand new hood, which he closely tied.
Inside the vehicle were a weaver, a white external hard drive, a pair of red ribbons, a Lerman’s multi-tool, and a proof of the Spatochouniou tower in Corinth-Tripoli. It was issued about 10 days before the disappearance of the missing pilot.
Chrysolouris, on the eve of his disappearance, had made an airplane flight from the Megara region. The Tunnel found the pilot who flew with him. The question that burns well known and his colleagues is whether he was threatened to perform as a bold pilot who was, a dangerous mission.
The show addressed the strange case to the former director of the Accident and Safety Committee, Akrivos Tsolakis. The experienced pilot replied that nothing is impossible since the missing person was very experienced. As he said, he would not be unlikely to know techniques to fly at a certain height for not being detected by a radar.
The revelation that shook
Almost one year after the pilot disappeared, an American from distant Alaska contacted the Tunnel and brought them up and down in this extreme case. The witness lived close to America, the then man of the missing man, also a pilot. He transferred to the Tunnel what his particular wife revealed to him about the conditions under which Chrysolouris was lost. Details she had concealed during her repeated telephone conversations with the show, but also the relatives of the pilot.
The witness, trying to cross everything he told him, was informed of the case by the English-language version of Angeliki Nikolouli’s website. The contradictions she found in her sayings worried him and came into contact with the show and the FBI.
As she told the Tunnel and American agents, this woman conveyed that Nikos Chrysolouris was murdered in his home while she was in another room. He said that someone unknown to him, stabbed him and left him helpless. She did not say whether she helped save Chrysolouris.
In the “Tunnel”, the missing person’s companion had said then that Chrysolouris left at 7.30 am to 8 am from their home in Markopoulo. She knew she had an appointment but she did not know who she was. What he remembers is that he recently received strange phone calls. When that morning Nikos left, he was irritated and took his laptop with him.
Immediately, the show contacted the FBI agent in Alaska handling the case and confirmed this serious testimony.
The American martyr described the woman with whom he was then, like a person without a thoughtful, manipulative and unreliable person who was envious of it. He got to the point of firing a shotgun and shooting in the house where they were, when the witnesses’ questions about the disappearance of the pilot were pushy.
As the witness has said, she can not be sure if this woman did anything to Nikos. But he thinks he knows a lot about his disappearance.
Another testimony that arrived at the Tunnel reported that the Swiss girlfriend of the pilot had attempted suicide when Nikos asked her to divorce. The last time before the disappearance, the couple had frequent quarrels.
“I have nothing to hide”
The show contacted the missing pilot’s mate asking for details of what happened to the fatal day of extinction. He again claimed that the last time Nikos Chrysolouris saw was the breakfast of April 8, 2013, who left the house where he stayed for an appointment. But he did not know who he would meet. He argued that he was not threatened by anyone, and that he did not have to hide anything about this case. In the reporter’s question, if Nikos had differences with other people, he referred to a Cypriot businessman with whom the pilot had been confused because he did not give him the money he owed to him. The Tunnel found this witness, but something serious did not arise.
A friend of Nikos Chrysoulouris, who knew his partner, denied the woman’s claim in the show. According to what he had said, the morning when Nikos disappeared, she was in the apartment where she stayed. But the witness went through the house, searched for it but did not find it.
Following this evidence, the Tunnel submitted to the Authorities all the documents that emerged from the investigation. Information trusted by the American citizen, witnesses, but also his mother who lives in Switzerland.
The bureaucracy of the Greek Authorities has resulted in no prosecutions until today. The hard disk and the computer of Nikos Chrysolouris have never been examined by forensic laboratories. The research in his car was not done using modern biological fluid detection methods.
