The investigating judge found the suspect in the murder of the student

Friday, September 23th, 2011, a day with important revelations in the thriller that took place in Patra, with victim the student of Architecture, Niki Laska 29 year old.

The show brought to light the shocking developments in this case which already counts five and a half years in the drawers of the city authorities. The investigating judge of Patra identified the suspect of the murder and calls him to testify. The impersonal accusation until yesterday got specified and opens the way for legal punishment of crime. The same person who belongs in the familiar environment of the unfortunate girl had been identified by the extensive research of “Tunnel.” It’s the same man who, according to testimonies, of friends and acquaintances of the student, treated her cruelly and had become literally her shadow. “Tunnel” has a rich, revealing material about this case. In order not to compromise the legal developments, it did not reveal all evidence.

The versions that have never been proved

“Tunnel” showed step by step the thorough research in Patra that excluded the possibility Niki having set up her own disappearance. Some, who wanted to mislead the authorities, insisted that the student chose to escape by opening a path through the Internet. The show managed to find all persons who were contacted with her in cyberspace, to reveal that everything had stopped two years before the disappearance. They were pointing at the authorities that the owner of an unknown red car was responsible for her disappearance. The show managed to find the type of the car and finally located the driver. It was someone familiar to her who wasn’t related with her disappearance. The research returned at the night of mystery and the last people who met her. After that, testimonies were given to the show and people were testified to the prosecutor leading to significant developments.

The omissions of the police

Androniki Laska has been missing since Tuesday, February 7th, 2006, from her house at Ierotheou Archiepiskopou street 8 – 12 in Patra. Two years later, the city prosecutor’s office brought criminal prosecution for murder by unknown. Precious time had already been lost. The Patra’s Police omissions during the preliminary investigation were many and they created a lot of questions. Shouldn’t the Police give the proper attention without the involvement of a TV show? Why did they spend a whole year in order to take important testimonies about this case? Why didn’t they investigate on time the places where the student was the last hours before her disappearance?
