On Friday night, November 17, the unlawful acts of two persons who attempted to rob a house in Pigadi village and were noticed were discovered. One of the two continued his life normally, but someone vanished the other one in a forest outside the village.

When “Tunnel” searched for him shortly before turning off his lights for the summer, no one imagined what would follow.
His friend and associate in the theft of the village, as he revealed to the police, claimed that in their attempt to escape were hunted by residents, and he left Tembelis helpless and injured under a tree. When he later returned to help him, he did not find him anywhere.
He told the Police and the family of the missing person that a villager , who was driving a blue- motorbike with a shotgun, chased them and did not know what followed.
The inhabitants speaking to “Tunnel” denied having taken the law in their hands. Instead, they were particularly afraid of the activity of villains in their area.
The brother of the missing man Giannis Tembelis, who was in the studio, had the courage to speak openly about what happened.
“If my brother was involved in the robbery, I apologize to those who became victims of that act. But if he lives, let him be punished by Justice, and not by men. We, his family, all we ask to know what is happened … It hurts us … ” he said.
He said that the missing person lived a normal life and worked as a rejuvenator.
“His behavior changed when our father died, he was dragged and crawled,” he said disappointingly.
In a telephonic intervention on the show, the lawyer of Tsembelis family Mr. Marinis said:
“The crucial point is that there is a significant gap in the time since Thodoris left alone until his friend appeared in the spot. What happened in the meantime? Who and why did he vanish him? “
We did not chase thieves with weapons …
“Tunnel” searched in Pigadi of Arkadia for the inhabitants who were the victims of theft at the dawn of the same day when Theodoros Tembelis disappeared.
The owner of the house where the thieves came in that morning showed the entrance door to Tunnel’s camera. The tenants in a memorial and when they returned they found the door open.
As he said, one of the two perpetrators went to the courtyard and broke the window by the side door, from where he entered the house.
But he did not realize that her grandson was watching him from another window.
“The child saw only one person entering the house. He wore a hood and was armed. He could not distinguish the type of weapon he was holding. But outside in the street , another man waited for him, ” he said.
Her grandson and eyewitness, spoke to “Tunnel”.
“At that time I was in my office having a lesson through Skype. From the window, I saw a man with a hood hovering around the courtyard. I felt fear. I got up quickly and called the Police. Meanwhile my father returned home. As soon as the thieves saw him, they left quiqkly. It has been heard that we chased them. This is not true. None of us followed them because they were holding a gun and we were afraid … ” he emphasized.
The show contacted other witnesses in the area who refused to be involved in the case. A resident agreed to speak to “Tunnel”.
“Who could chase them? People were afraid even to go to their homes. I wanted to go to help the kid who was reading and he was alone, but I was afraid. We were all afraid … How to act if the other one holds a gun? “he said.
He said the two guys who tried to steal the house at Pigadi were known for their action in the area.
“Over the last few years, especially with the weapons, they were totally dismayed … Tembelis was lost and everyone wished for the other one to be lost too and live in peace … People in Pigadi are good people but the situation is tragic …” he stressed.
The shocking development of the disappearance …
Disappointed and saddened the brother of the missing man Giannis Tembelis spoke to “Tunnel”.
“His friend acted like he knew nothing … He was saying the same in your show. He finally confessed everything to the Police. I don’t Know, what to say … It is difficult for the family … My brother was not saint, but he did not deserve such luck … His friend said that while they were running to escape he felt and hit himself. Then he was tired and could not continue. In fact, he said there was a blood spot where he left him. ”
In a related question from the reporter, he replied that no one informed the family if blood was actually found, if the authorities examined it, or if the man who was hunting them with the blue motorbike was found to testify.
“If it was missing dog they would be more interested,” he said disappointedly.
“Our relatives and friends have organized a team to look for Thodoris. We asked for the help of his friend before his confession…. We told him to look to the opposite direction from where his motorbike was found. We wanted to go to the point where they ended up running when they tried to escape that morning. He refused with the excuse that my brother was fat and would not be able to walk up there. ”
It is striking that while in the first investigation of the police at the point where his brother’s motorbike was found , nothing else was found there, and the friend who went there later found a pair of black gloves.
“When he left my brother in the woods as he said, he passed in front of my house. Couldn’t he knock on my door and say, good or bad we did something illegal but your brother has stayed there and wants help. Let’s go and find him? I believe this person knows a lot and I’m interested in learning the truth, ” he said.
“It was not easy for us to know that our brother was involved in the robbery. It was a big shock for the family. It was a mistake, but he is still a human being…. ” he stressed with pain.
“They told you I was involved in the robbery, but they are lying …”
A few days after this curious case was presented in June 2017 and after the show was stopped for the summer season, a journalist of the Tunnel contacted again with the friend of the missing man, who certainly knew a lot.
During the conversation between them he sounded comfortable and without caring much for the fate of his friend.
When the reporter referred to a testimony that arrived on the show about the pair of gloves which was found next to the missing person’s motorbike, he admitted that he was the one who had found them and placed them under a branch of a tree.
“I said to his brother, I went there and found them. I do not know who they belong to. I did not expect the situation to evolve like that and i did not pay attention. I put them under a branch, it’s not something important… ” he said then.
Asked by the reporter if he mentioned it to the police, he replied: “I will find myself tomorrow after tomorrow with …. which is from the Police and we’re going to take them … ”
The reporter referred to another resident testimony that saw one of the two thieves in Pigadi village wearing gloves. He told him that because of their offending behavior they could associate them with this unlawful act.
“I did not have anything to do with it. Someone came to you and said bullshit. I heard it and wanted to kill him! I went to the police and told them not to stop bothering me, because I’ll kill him! I’ll break all his bones! Come forward with you real name like i do “.
The reporter insisted on urging him to go along with the police and get the gloves off the spot as part of the survey. “I will go … Who will get them from there? It’s not Athens here! ” was his short answer.
“I have an order not to speak …”
The recent attempt of Tunnel after the revelations to communicate again with the friend of Theodoros Tembelis moved in a completely different climate.
The same man , abrupt and not at all friendly, as in the past, refused to answer to questions this time.
” I have nothing else to say. Talk to the Police. I have an order not to speak … ” were his words.
