Giorgos Athanasiadis, 57, was lost on 14 June from the village of Sappes Komotini, where he lived alone. His son, who lives in another area, was looking for him for sixteen days.
On July 1, the authorities informed him that his father was hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic because of the health problems he faces.
After the necessary procedures, he will return to the safety of his family.
