In case the developments in the serious cases we investigate thoroughly demand it, the Tunnel will automatically produce its own web show. We may not have the comfort of a tv production studio, but we do have instead, the warm touch that keeps us united for 16 years now, in a big and strong team.
We do miss the Tunnel. I can feel it wherever I go; i read your comments on the site and on facebook. Im honestly touched by the love and interest that generously is bestowed on me.
You all keep asking me, why dont i abandon Alter network and go somewhere else. You see my friends, my career in media and television over the years, doesnt allow me to move hastily, just to go live on air. Im going to wait like the other excellent colleagues of mine in Alter network do, to see what its going to be with the notorious Article 99. It is known that the network is waiting for some time now, to join it. I wish it accomplished its goal. It will be good for everyone and especially for the hundreds of employees who struggle for survival. If nothing new comes up with the New Year, then everything is possible, even going to another channel.
The official Google Analytics give us an accurate picture. We have got 150.000 visits, only the last month, despite the fact that we have been off air. Our website has 790.000 page views with an average time on site that is more than 6 minutes per visit. The first location analytics show that apart from Greece, the top countries are : Germany, Cyprus, UK, USA, Singapore, Sweden, Italy, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, Belgium, France and UAE.
I couldnt be less GRATEFUL!…
