Alex Meshishvili’s thriller, in Veria, was once again under the show’s microscope.
The new cycle of investigations to identify what was left of the 11-year-old student, was opened after a related investigation by the show and also by a request submitted to the City Prosecutor’s Office by his mother’s lawyer, Manolis Anastasakis.
“We submitted the request on January 25 and had a positive response from the Prosecutor’s Office for the investigations. We proposed to give relevant permission to the Professor of Applied Geophysics of AUTH, Mr. Grigoris Tsokas, to carry out a geophysical analysis of the subsoil, around the Tripotamos river, in the area of Barbutas, using modern methods and techniques, but to this day we do not know if the research is confidential , as they tell us, or it hasn’t even started,” said Mr. Anastasakis from the show’s studio.
From a “Tunnel” investigation, it appears that something like this has not happened to date in Barbuta, even though residents of the area say they are willing to help the authorities investigate even in the yards of their homes.
It seems that a witness who had seen some suspicious movements, after years confused basic elements in her statement to the authorities. But there are others who point to Barbuta as the burial place of the unfortunate disciple. There, specifically on the banks of the river, the group of five cruel juveniles left him dead on Friday, February 3, 2006. Then some adults from their environment, made sure to disappear around there.
