After two adjournments, the trial in the Death Court began on Wednesday, February 2, in Limassol. The first to testify was the Cypriot Police officer who was in charge of the investigation into the circumstances of Vangelis’s death, in October 2020.
From the first day of the trial, serious omissions are revealed in the police investigation that resulted in the loss of valuable time, but also evidence that would shed light on the case.
The trial was adjourned and will resume on Thursday, February 24.
