It took 13 full years to investigate the disappearance of a mother and daughter from Georgia, who were found to have been the victims of a horrific murder by their daughter’s Pakistani lover and two of his compatriots, who killed them in the summer of 2007. Murderers killed the two women, shredded them and threw their limbs in trash cans, without ever been found.
For the thriller of the disappearance of Zuzuna Dodvatze, 59 years old, and her daughter Anna, 21 years old, the sister of the missing mother had been contacted in “Light in the Tunnel” and the show had thoroughly dealt with their shocking case.
The main perpetrator, after being arrested on a relevant warrant, claimed that he killed the two women, because the mother threatened him that she would reveal to his wife his extramarital affair with her daughter.
The disappearance of mother and daughter was announced in July 2007, at the Omonia Police Department, by the mother’s sister and since then they had literally lost track of them, without anyone knowing until today their horrible end.
For the case, the official announcement of the Police states: “The Homicide Department of Attica solved the case of the murder of two foreign women – mother and daughter – aged 59 and 21, who had disappeared at 6-7-2007 from the area of Athens and since then they had not given signs of life.
The disappearance of the above women had been reported to the Omonia P.D. and the case file that was formed was submitted to the Athens Public Prosecutor.
The Homicide Department, after evaluating information from the Search Department of the Archives and Identity Search Sub-Directorate, set up a special investigative team to review the case.
After cooperating with the authorities of the country of origin of the victims, through the National Interpol Unit and diligent searches, the two alleged perpetrators were located in Athens and were brought to justice. They are two foreigners aged 54 and 60.

As it turned out, the victims had been strangled to death inside the 54-year-old’s apartment in Petralona, and then the perpetrators, with the help of a third person, disappeared their bodies. The motive for their actions, according to the 54-year-old, was personal differences with the victims.
The new information that emerged was submitted to the Athens Public Prosecutor, the case was referred for main investigation and warrants were issued against the perpetrators, under which they were arrested “.
