Klimek, who lived in Athens had not been in touch with her relatives since December 4, 2017. Her family made an announcement on a Polish site with missing persons, seen by a Polish viewer who lives in our country . The viewer trough Facebook came in contact with the show and asked for help.
From the research that followed, it emerged that on December 10, 2017 an ambulance was summoned and received from Vathi Square a woman without evidence with a heart attack of about 60 years.
Tragic irony: The same day her relatives had declared her disappearance in her country, and Interpol was also informed.
The woman went to Pamamkaristos Hospital in Patissia where she died. Her body was transferred to the morgue of the Athens Forensic Service, but due to lack of personal documents she was registered as unidentified. After some time that no one had sought for her, she was buried in the Third Cemetery of Nikaia.
All this time, her daughter’s efforts in Germany had no results because she could not learn the slightest of the Greek authorities about her mother’s fate.
Using the data collected from the research, Tunnel brought in contact the unfortunate woman’s family with the Athens Forensic Service, in order for relatives to provide genetic material and identify DNA.
Almost a year and a half later, the family was informed by the Omonia Police that the sample given by the relatives was identified.
Then a new Calvary started for relatives. They went to the cemetery of Nikaia and instead of a tomb they saw a dump … In a corner of it was buried unattached and vertically a plastic coffin, with an indicative code that was out of the ground!
What harmed the family most is the indifference and inhumanity that they experienced for a fellow man from who stole his identity card and suffer a heart attack in the street…
