A child does not need to be at school to be bullied. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and the countless hours spent on the internet, children are daily exposed to the risk of cyberbullying.
The dangers that minors can face on the internet were highlighted by the “Child’s Smile” and the European Voluntary Student Network YouSmile, which organized an event “Staying Online, Safe” on the occasion of the World Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 9 February.
“The Smile of the Child” completed twenty-five years of offering to more than 1,700,000 children and their families.
After the two recent particularly worrying disappearances of the 10-year-old girls, “The Smile of the Child” created a show related on the phenomenon of Disappearances.
According to data from “Smile of the Child”, there has been a surge in cases of domestic violence in both women and children as citizens spend all day at home due to the outbreak of corona virus.
The disappearance of the minor has triggered the mobilization of the Authorities and the “Smile of the Child”.
