He had gone missing on May 31st in Plagiari, in the area of Thessaloniki.
For his disappearance a Silver Alert had been issued.
Dead close to his village
The 82-year-old Bill Gkaretsos, who suffered from dementia, was finally found dead only a few meters away from his village.
