The expert himself, identified by the defendant’s family, referred to the fact that he had intervened in the “Tunnel” by telephone in June 2015 and made an explicit statement that Thanassis Lambrou had been assassinated.
He claimed that he later became aware of all the material in the case when the defendant appointed him an expert.
Despite his research, however, as he has argued, he cannot draw a safe conclusion as to whether it is indeed murder or suicide.
At this point, the Court asked Mr. Rautogiannis how he could explain the fact that the victim, while stabbed in the chest, took off his shirt, then shot himself in the head and missing a gun holster.
In this case he allegedly replied that the case led to the conclusion of the murder.
The examination of the accused widow’s expert will continue on February 28 from the civil lawsuit and defense, followed by the defendant’s apology.
