Melanie Kupner, 57, was found wandering on Sunday, October 27, on the old Athens-Corinth Highway and was taken to the Police Department. where they made attempts to locate her family environment, but to no avail.
She declared incorrect personal details and was taken to hospital because she needed care.
Silver Alert service updated by EL.AS. and the hospital’s Social Service for the incident and was asked for assistance. The Silver Alert mechanism for elderly strangers was immediately put into operation.
The volunteers of the service researched on the basis of information about her family environment and evaluated all the information coming to SOS 1065.
Her relatives were identified and after formal procedures, the 57-year-old returned to her home.
