The family asks for technical adviser

In its final course is the preliminary investigation for the tragic death of the student of the Technical University of Athens, Nicolaos Hadjipavlou, 21 years old.

The results of the Criminal Laboratories await the Police, in order to clarify the following:

First, if there is foreign DNA on  the child’s body.
Secondly, if its genetic material has been identified on rocks which have been found by experienced police officers as “points of interest” because of the blood stains they have discovered.

Blood  was unable to detect as the rain speculated  it .

Police officers believe they have discovered the spot on the rocks where the child was  injury,  where his sweatshirt was spotted, and also one of his shoes.

With the help of climbers, yesterday the officers of the Criminal Investigation Directorate tried to identify the child’s initial point of injury. But it is an extremely difficult and dangerous rock.

The case is now in the process of completing the investigation that leads to the conclusion of the tragic accident.

The victim’s family has come to a first contact with the experienced coroner Mr. Philippos Koutsaftis to take in charge of Nikos  case as a technical adviser, but the prosecutor’s decision is expected, as this means that it will have to be resumed a new necropsy in his body.

Typically, technical consultants are present during the first necropsy.
