The court, fully accepting the Prosecutor’s proposal for conversion of the charge, convicted the two accused, father and son, for the death of 44-year-old Telemachos Kakoulidis, finding them guilty of the crime of intentional homicide. Initially, the accusation they faced was that of a deadly report, while the son was also involved in drug trafficking in the form of possession. Both were sentenced to thirteen years in prison. The son was taken to prison again while his father was released due to his age and serious health problems until the appeal of both of them was heard. With tears in their eyes, the parents of the unfortunate Telemachos welcomed the court verdict, while their lawyer, George Kokosalis, speaking to “Tunnel”, underlined the show’s contribution to the case: “Procedurally, this is a very important decision.
