Her husband Anastasios Tsioucharas, according to his confession, strangled her after a quarrel without caring for his children. From the autopsy, the death was due to suffocation while fracture detected on the scalp and bruising around the eyes, which probably came from hits.
Information indicates that after strangling Anthi, the perpetrator wrapped the body in a blanket and put it in the truck in the basement garage.
