The accusation of her foreign friend, who was driving the motorcycle the fateful night , was a homicide of negligence.
According to the indictment, the Syrian friend of the unfortunate woman was deprived of a driver’s license. The vehicle fell into a puddle, the driver could not avoid it by maneuvering, reversed its course and overthrown. Sonia, who fell on the pavement, suffered severe craniocerebral injuries and left her last breath in the ICU of Volos Hospital after eight days of hospitalization.
The prosecutor ordered the case to be returned to the Prosecutor’s Office of Voluntary Offenses in order to prosecute the accused for the offense of leaving the place of the accident.
The lawyer of the family of the beautiful chef Christoforos Glavanos, after this development, said:
“The family of Sonia partly feels justified, but the struggle for full justice will continue.”
In “Tunnel” were found her relatives who from the first moment argued that the unfortunate woman had not been the victim of a road accident. The opinion of the technical consultant they appointed gave Sonia’s serious injury to the head by a thunderbolt and not a fall on a road. For this reason, the family had filed a suit of unknown about the murder.
At the beginning of October, the case was closed by the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office in Volos, as no face was involved in a case involving an offense that was unjustifiable to Sonia.
