Nearly nine months after the body of Eirini Lagoudi was found in her car on the shores of Lake Trichonida, Justice is now examining the possibility of being murdered.
On the morning of Friday 21st September, the Chief of the Prosecutor’s Office of Agrinio, Georgios Petros, filed a criminal prosecution for homicide by intent to co-operate in a peaceful mental state against unidentified perpetrators, attempted ofarson, for moral instigation in the above acts, for the offense of a gang formation.
The case file has already been forwarded to Agrinio Investigator. Following these developments, the 44-year-old mother’s case is moving away from the version of suicide as initially estimated by the police authorities.
From Agrinio, the legal representative of the relatives of the unfortunate woman, Costas Zois, told Tunnel:
“It is now crystallized that this is a criminal act. The fact that the prosecution refers to the co-operation shows that there are indications of the involvement of more than two individuals, but also of a third perpetrator who may have given the order for the criminal acts. “
