The Union of Officers of the Region of Western Greece stresses the following:
“On the occasion of a series of reports on the investigation of the 44-year-old death in the Akarnania region, our Union wants to express its absolute confidence in the police authorities that have undertaken the investigations and the judicial authorities that precede them.
The Hellenic Police Services has demonstrated that they operate professionally, impartially, methodically and above all with efficiency and can carry out serious and difficult assumptions.
Respecting the secrecy of the pre-trial, the pain of the deceased family, and the efforts of our colleagues to clarify the case, we believe that public attitudes that affect the authority of the Authorities and challenge the dignity of the police are condemnable, do not help in revealing truth and cause difficulties in the investigations of police and judicial authorities. “
