In the dock was the wife of Thanassis Lambrou, who was first sentenced to life imprisonment for his murder.
The victim was found shot in his friend’s house. The murderous revolver, which was covered with his head and the right hand of the victim, belonged to his friend. His own was the bloody knife found next to the captain. The same man found him in his yard, but police and doctor arrived at the site much later. Thanasis Lambrou died during his transfer to the Kranidi Medical Center.
First filed a worker at the owner’ s house shop, who claimed that his boss was in his shop. In his initial statement, however, he had argued that the victim’s close friend, “was not at the shop at that time.”
The next witness who owns a property adjacent to the house where the captain was murdered told the court that he rushed to the place after the shots he heard. He said he saw the captain on the ground and people around him trying to help.
Last filed a friend of the victim who was the one who carried Lambrou to the Cranidium Health Center with his car. As he said, the owner of the house called him and told him “to go from there because something happened”. He said when he arrived, he saw the victim and the owner in shock.
Angeliki Nikolouli is expected to be examined.
Her filing at the first court was considered crucial, as from the very first moment through “Tunnel” she highlighted the suspect role of the captain’s widow.
Relatives of the accused will file, at the request of the defense and accepted by the Court.
