This information came two months after his death and while Dimitrios Kalogiannis had already been buried in a cemetery in Attica as unknown person.
The 64-year-old was found dead shortly after 5 in the morning, on April 9, on Poseidonos Avenue, in P. Faliro and in the traffic flow to Athens, after being hit without abandonment, by a passing vehicle.
The Traffic Police had issued a relevant announcement for his identification at that time, looking for any witnesses who knew him.
At the end of May and after the announcement of his disappearance, as he had disappeared from “Dromokaitio”, the fingerprinting that had been done was sent to the Forensic Laboratories, the results of which came out with a long delay only on Monday, June 14 and his relatives were informed in Lesvos.
