TV viewers responded to Angeliki Nikolouli’s appeal to give evidence that could illuminate the darkness.
Dora Zeberis 32-year-old , was murdered in the afternoon of Wednesday 18th October while she was leaving a flower in her friend’s grave, who lost his life in an industrial accident.
The police and the family are looking for witnesses who were earlier in the cemetery and most likely saw the perpetrator.
Information that came to “Tunnel” is about the content of a woman’s bag that spotted a viewer near the church of Prophet Elijah in the same area, one day after the murder. The witness intends to file to the Authorities, who, all this time, search in on a long span around the cemetery to find Dora’s handbag .
Another viewer who had not spoken to the Authorities and heard the cries was first in the place where the unfortunate woman was hit. Her testimony is judged to be serious and exploited by the police.
The killer seems to have taken with him the handbag of the unfortunate woman who, if found, might help the police to locate him.
This is a light beige handbag with a handle with all Dora Zeberis personal belongings, money and her mobile phone.
These witnesses heard loud voices before the young woman’s body was spotted, while at the scene of the crime showed that there was a fight.
She was found stabbed several meters away from her friend’s memorial in a pool of blood.
The Investigations of the Crime Division of Life are still underway to investigate the murder.
The Authorities from the very first moment only have the presumption from the scene of the crime of losing the victim’s bag indicating the motive as robbery. In spite of thorough research in the surrounding area from the cemetery, in rubbish bins and even wells, the bag has not been found.
But they do not exclude the possibility of a personal motivation as the victim was stabbed 14 times, of which four were fatal.
Authorities also investigate the victim’s close environment, but also people who have been involved in violent robberies in pedestrians even for sexual assaults.
The results of the Criminal Laboratories so far have not led to an identification of an offender from the tissues removed from the victim’s nails.
