According to exclusive information of Fos Sto Tunnel, on the evening of July 16th, the day that Konstantinos Loizidis and his daughter Eleni, went missing, a villager from Borsi area heard a cry for help from a distance.
However, he could not understand from which the call assistance came from and since he did not here it twice, he ignored it. The witness resides far away from the deserted pasture that father and daughter were trapped.
After their corpses were found, he revealed his experience. Unfortunately, it was too late.
The assistance that the two missing persons were seeking, never came. They did not have any mobile phone with them and probably they suffered a panic attack. They were abandoned to their fate. Konstantinos Loizidis was facing health problems as his daughter, too.
It is likely to have died in his car suffering a heart attack. The sure thing is that both of them were dehydrated which means that they were several hours exposed to high temperatures.
If this happened, there is much possibility that they died the next day. Among the several odd things of this story, the most important of them all is:
Why did they not try to walk until the national road and ask for help, since their car had no malfunction?
Autopsy in their bodies was held in Patras. It did not give many details because of decomposition. There were no injuries which could refer to any criminal action.
Constantinos Loizides 68 year old and his 44 year old daughter Heleni got lost when they went to Gouves, 500 meters from the Douneika where they were staying with their car, a gray Hyundai Accent, with registration number ΙΜΝ 6084.
