They carried her dead to the cave

Tightens the ring of investigations of the Authorities of Crete to investigate the wild assassination of the 60-year-old American biologist Suzanne Eaton.

From the very first moment, the police have two data, which arise from data they collected on the first day of investigations when the body of the American biologist was found in a cave in the Platanias area about 10 km further away from where she originally disappeared .

The first is that Suzanne Eaton was murdered a short distance from Kolymbari from where she started her hike and the second that she was transferred from the perpetrator or the perpetrators to the cave she was accidentally found, indicating that they  knew the spot perfectly.

Police officers from Chania were not even expecting confirmation that they were dealing with an outrageous crime.

That’s why they started from the first day, targeted cheks of suspects,  from which they have received genetic material and are expected to be identified with the materials collected by the forensics from the clothes and body of the 60-year-old.

Also material from security cameras have been collected from various points.

The woman, according to the findings of the necropsy, had a lot of blows on the sides of her bodybut they did not cause her death. Her death was suffocating and her killer probably closed her mouth and nose with his hands.

The possibility of rape remains open, as it is the only motivation that could exist for such a fierce crime since it has nothing worthless on her  to fall victim to robbery. Due to decomposition, however, no safe conclusions could be drawn, so material was obtained for laboratory testing, the results of which are expected to be within one week.
