The body of 85-year-old Georgios Tsouras was found on Monday, September 19, by police men in an area next to the Ioannina Ring Road.
The exact circumstances of death will emerge from the post-mortem examination.
The 85-year-old had disappeared on Friday, September 16 from his home in Ioannina and the Silver Alert had been raised.
