The elderly man had disappeared on Saturday night, April 29, from the area of Agios Dimitrios square, in Ampelokipi, in Athens.
Although at first glance the police who went to the scene did not find any traces of any criminal activity, an autopsy was requested to determine the exact cause of his death.
A Silver Alert had been issued for his disappearance
