In the most tragic way, the fears for the retired person for who Silver Alert was looking for were confirmed.
Antonis Sahas, 67, was found dead on Sunday, January 6, in the area of Eloiohori, between Keratea and Lavrio. The corpse of the unfortunate man was found three kilometers away from the Obriokastro site where his wife’s body had been found the day before, inside a car, in a stream.
The rescuers of the Rescue Military Club, who together with police officers, firefighters and members of other groups who were participated in the investigations, also found the corpse of the family friend who was also missing.
It all started when the couple and their neighbor left on Thursday, January 3, from Keratea to Lavrio. On their way back, they tried to cross a bridge in the middle of a rainy rain and drifted from the rushing waters.
