The corpse of Giorgos Kremmyas, 71 years old, was found nine days after his disappearance in an inaccessible ravine between the villages of Rigani and Pitsineika, from his fellow-villager who participated in the investigations to locate him.
The unfortunate elderly who was suffering from health problems was lost on Wednesday, April 10, when he left his house in Paleopanagia of Nafpaktos to go to his estate in the village of Rigani. The next day his rural car was found unlocked in Kalovrisi area.
All these days, police men, the fire brigade and the EMAK team, ran the area to find him, but with no result.
According to the first estimates due to the dense fog that existed, the elder probably lost his orientation and moved away from the point where his car was left.
