
After several days of interruption, the widow of Thanasis, Dimitra Voulgari is sitting again in front of the judges.
First witness at today’s hearing was the police officer who was involved as a supervisor when the accused confessed the murder of her husband. She didn’t sign her confession which took place on July 23, 2015.
According to the witness, he heard the accused telling to the officers of Nafplio that she finally wanted to tell the truth. She described the crime scene with all details.
Dimitra Voulgari, while listening to the testimony of the witness responded saying that what the police officer are lying in front of the court. “This man has well learned the poem”, she claimed.
The lawyer of Labru’s family, Mr Giorgos Georgopoulos asked the witness why her confession wasn’t signed by her. The witness replied that Dimitra Voulgari called to her mother, who advised her not to “put her signature to anything”.
Lawyer Alexis Kougias submitted a request with which he asked for the Attorney who was present at her confession to testify. Voulgaris’ attorney and the Prosecutor disagreed and soon the court will decide about the request.
There is much interest about the testimony of Thanasis Labru’s friend, whose house was the place where the captain was found dead.
